A photo generalist by nature, Craig's work covers a broad base of subject matter and clients. His workload consists of images for print publications, corporate brochures / advertising, and editorial work for the international newswire service Penta Press. His first book "Sailing by the Belle" released in 2010 chronicled the sport of competitive sailing along the coast of Racine, Wisconsin and included images from several national regattas. His second book, "For the Sake of Light" released in 2012 is an in-depth look at the use of light in photography and includes images from Craig's work across the country as a freelance photographer. He is known for his use of creative lighting techniques and unique perspective he brings to his images, often stating in the photo workshops he teaches "You just don't have to accept the given conditions..." Craig's demeanor with clients has been described as extremely professional due to his business acumen, yet light hearted and humorous making his subjects feel at ease. "Photography is all about people, and the best pictures come from getting people to have fun and willingly participate in an image".
